They paint us black and make sure to inflict in us the need to color over any type of colorful emotion in another person’s being. Even when we try to break free, they make sure to remind us that we are not good enough to be granted a splash of life’s generosity. Life is bad, they whisper in our ears before we could even tell the difference between its different colors. You have to defend yourself of its twists and turns, they express proudly as if they understood the meaning of our creation. They fail to see that those twists and turns are what makes us alive. They’re what makes us human.
